I Transfer/Withdrawal/Deferment Policies I
Withdrawal for Cause
Subject to Force Majeure, the Student shall be entitled to immediately withdraw from the course by giving written notice to Kings English of his/her intention to do so under the following circumstances:

King's English fails, for any reason, to commence the Course on the Commencement Date; |
| (ii) |
King's English fails, for any reason, to complete the Course by the Completion Date; |
| (iii) |
King's English terminates the Course for any reason prior to the completion of the Course; or |
| (iv) |
King's English is in material breach of its obligations under the agreement reached in the Student Contract. |
Withdrawal Without Cause
Where the Student withdraws from the Course for any reason other than those set out in the Transfer/Withdrawal/Deferment Policies under Withdrawal for Cause, the Student shall be deemed to have Withdrawn Without Cause.
Transfer of Course
A Student who transfers from one Course to another Course within Kings English shall be deemed to have Withdrawn Without Cause from the former Course and the provisions in the Refund Policies as set under Refunds for Withdrawal Without Cause shall apply save as otherwise agreed between Kings English and the Student.
Transfer of School
A Student who withdraws from Kings English to enrol with another school shall be deemed to have Withdrawn Without Cause from Kings English and the provisions in the Refund Policies as set under Refunds for Withdrawal Without Cause shall apply save as otherwise agreed between Kings English and the Student.
Deferment of Course
In the event that a Student is unable to commence a Course on the stipulated Commencement Date, the Student must submit a written Request for Deferment. Kings English reserves the right to approve, deny and/or impose conditions upon any such request.
Where a Student provides written notice of at least twenty-one (21) days before the commencement of a Course to inform Kings English of his or her intention to postpone attendance in the Course, the Student shall be deemed to have deferred his or her course and no refunds will be made. The deferment shall be deemed to be a postponement of attendance in the Course until the next available Commencement Date save as otherwise agreed between Kings English and the Student.
Where a Student fails to provide written notice of at least twenty-one (21) days before the commencement of a Course to inform Kings English of his or her intention to postpone attendance in the Course, the Student shall be deemed to have Withdrawn Without Cause from Kings English and the provisions in the Refund Policies as set under Refunds for Withdrawal Without Cause shall apply save as otherwise agreed between Kings English and the Student.
Where a Student has been granted deferment and subsequently gives written notice to withdraw from a Course, the Student shall be deemed to have Withdrawn Without Cause and the provisions in the Refund Policies as set under Refunds for Withdrawal Without Cause shall apply save as otherwise agreed between Kings English and the Student.

Cancellation/Transfer of Students Pass
A Student who withdraws, transfers or defers may have to surrender his/her existing Students Pass and/or reapply for a new Students Pass, as described in the Singapore Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) website (app.ica.gov.sg/index.asp). The Student will bear any and all fees, charges and/or deposits incurred for such cancellation or reapplication.
