In line with the Singapore Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) stipulation that an international student who holds a Student Pass must attend at least 90% of classes, Kings English will create and maintain a class attendance roster for each Course it offers.
The Student is responsible for ensuring that his/her attendance is accurately recorded in the roster and that he/she attends at least 90% of the classes for each Course the student is enrolled in. In the event that a Student is absent from class, he/she must produce by the following class
(i)
a dated Medical Certificate (MC) from a certified practising medical practitioner, or
(ii)
some other acceptable form of written explanation.
If the Student fails to produce such written explanation, he/she will be deemed to have been Absent Without Leave.
In the event that a Student is Absent Without Leave for more than 10% of the Course he/she is enrolled in, the Student shall be deemed to have Withdrawn Without Cause and the provisions in the Refund Policies as set under Refunds for Withdrawal Without Cause shall apply save as otherwise agreed between Kings English and the Student.
